Wow, a futa author who didn't use a sleazy cover, lol. It's not even shelved as "transgender" as a lot of these futa authors so wrongly do. And the writing is actually pretty decent. It started out well and I could picture two women at first. Only futa girl didn't get much description... it's all about the schlong, really. This could have been a het couple. But for what it is... it's not bad.

It's about a horny princess who loves her hot lady knight. When the lady knight joins a mission to take out an evil sorceress, she returns home "cursed" with altered sexual anatomy. The surprising part is that the princess eagerly welcomes the spell and has apparently been bi-curious all along. From there it could have been a M/F sex story.

I don't know. I'd like to believe the two leads were actually lesbians and that they BOTH still maintained a female presence.

Wow, L.M. Pickett is a very great author. I loved this story and went on ahead to read her other fanfiction stories and I gotta say, it went beyond my expectation. Although this story was too short to truly show her talent, the fanfiction stories are much longer and have great character development like in this one. Her other stories are F/F pairing, you will not find futanari characters in those. I really love her work. If you're interested look her up I believe she goes under the pen name ImPerrin.

Good for the bare beginner

This book was provided to me by the publisher through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is another book published by Llewellyn that I’ll have to go back and make notes on. Everything was very clearly explained, and it’d be difficult to misunderstand the information. There’s a lot of information on Beltane available, but the kind of clarity Ms. Marquis brings to it allows for a lot more detail, and there was obviously a lot of thought put into this book. It was great to finally know where some of the most common information actually originated from.

I found a lot of the information refreshing, but it took an excessively long time to actually get to the information, plus there was not-so-common history bits that are still relevant today. As opposed to the included Tarot information, which could be found in any introductory book on Tarot, or with a few clicks on Google.

Oh, but the recipes. And the crafts! And the explanation of prayer from a Pagan perspective… brilliant, and the best I’ve ever read.

This book would probably be best for the solitary Witch who doesn’t already have an established practice, or perhaps for the experienced Witch who wants to freshen up what they already do.

I ended up skipping the section on modern Beltane celebrations. They got kind of repetitive, plus there wasn’t anything included that’s local to me so it wasn’t very interesting.

Speaking of repetitive, there was a summary of Beltane at the start of almost every chapter. I think after the second or third time it gets pretty well ingrained and we don’t need to be reminded. The additional details on the astrological timing of Beltane was nice.

Reading through this book I’m reminded of some friends I had in high school. They were part of this masonic-type organization for young women – I forget what it was called – but every year they would decorate plates and make a bunch of goodies and leave them on people’s doorsteps early on May 1 before school.

The author could stand to find some more creative segways. The word “another” can only be used so many times before it starts reading as gibberish. And I can understand the reasoning behind knowing the history of what you’re celebrating, but… I was starting to fall asleep. You don’t need quite that much.

Good Do It Yourself Guide

This book is a good guide to counter some of the others out there that are entirely too oriented toward those with access to professional facilities. Few of the shade tree restorers among us have ready access to the full gamut of spray booths, high end abrasive blasting, two-stage compressors, etc.--you get the idea. This book is more focused on doing things economically. Following the guidelines in this book, you might not get the results that you would in a pro shop, but you will also avoid the easily recommended 'get all the best toys' mentality. One item of note: because this book is out of Great Britain, the product recommendations are not directly relatable to U.S. products / product lines, but comparable products are recognizable.

As with all books by Martin Thaddeus, this one just starts on the subject without a whole lot of filler. I wish this guy wrote more books covering other automotive topics. A great buy for the true diy who doesn't have all the money in the world.

A very informative book.

This book has good information to learn. I shows you how to do all the painting. I was not able to try anything, because I am unemployed, and do not have any cash to do anything with.

This book goes right with Martin Thaddeus other book on body repair.

His body repair book is very very good. It will teach you to take a really really rusted out car, and make it new again. He teaches you how to repair parts of the car, without buying the part. Which is a much cheaper way of repairing it.

Lionheart Rules!

This is the story of Richard the Lionheart as told by himself, his mistress Blondelza (fictional), Mercadier of Fouquenbrun-Knight, Queen Eleanor, Berengaria, Princess of Navarre later Richard's wife, and Alexander the Monk. Each person, who, by the way really existed (with the exception of Blondelza and other minor characters), has their own chapter or book in which they give their personal view of Richard and his life and how these events affected both of them.
The horrible, gruesome battles and seiges of the Crusade are well defined here. Almost too much so, however, it gives a more realistic picture of what both sides suffered in the name of God. Richard is portrayed here as a complex prince and ruler who tries to do the right thing but being human sometimes fails in that endeavor.
It is a very worthwhile read and there are many interesting viewpoints from the most common of people, traveling entertainers to the Queen of England, Eleanor. Each offers unique insights as to what life must have been like in medieval times. This novel is out-of-print but should be found, read and treasured.

The Politically Correct King Richard the Lionhearted circa 1980.

I'm writing this review for all the people who saw this on Bookbub for free and might be tempted. I first read this book back in the 1980s and even then it was an accepted historical fact that King Richard was homosexual. However, Ms Rofheart decided to rewrite history and give him a female lover with a name similar to the young man who he was really in love with, a minstrel named Blondel. Richard did marry for the sake of the throne, but by all accounts in was a marriage of politics and without passion. The historical facts are far more interesting than this politically correct version and I assume the author sanitized the story to attract a larger audience who probably would not know (or want to know) the truth of King Richard the Lionhearted. So why 2 stars? Well, I didn't hate it and all these years later I still remember it (sort of)- I was stuck on an airplane without other options and the story moved along and was technically well written. I wish I could say there was a really great book about Richard the Lionhearted, but I think it has yet to be written or I have yet to find it.

Edited: I have added this edit to include what I wrote below in the comments (so you don't have to dig for it) to clarify my low grade of this book: This was not a book I would have recommended to a friend or probably even bothered to review at the time of my first reading it. The book was a diversion on a long, personally significant, airplane flight and that's part of the reason I remember it at all. I do recall thinking the story had all the depth of a medieval movie made in Hollywood, if Tony Curtis had played the part of King Richard and Janet Leigh was Blondelza. If people want to download it for free (per the BookBub price notice) I would say that is the correct price for this particular novel.

In my opinion, the best book ever written!!!

I don't think there is anything about this book that I didn't like so it will be hard to get it all in a few sentences, but I will try. The way that each major charactor in the story is given an individual story to tell makes the book even better than it would have been otherwise. I love the way the author gave the wonderful true life of Richard I even more excitement by adding a few fictional characters. It is nice to finally read a fairly true story and not be bored to tears. Quite the opposite, I could not put it down the first time I read it. I have read it several times now and have laughed and cried every time all over again. I could never praise this book enough.......YOU MUST READ IT!!!!!!!
